SHANICE TAYLOR, RN, BIRTH ASSISTANT

Shanice is a Registered Nurse & certified holistic birth and postpartum doula. Recently graduating from nursing school she desires to continue her education as a nurse midwife. She has been a doula for 5 years. Shanice began her journey with a passion for moms in underserved communities.  She spent a few years after undergrad as a teacher in the community striving to educate youth in STEM fields, with the belief that if STEM is introduced early we can debunk the fear that these subjects are hard and unobtainable to the youth.  Shanice has helped support moms in home births and hospital settings. She continues to support expecting families through their birthing journey.
